Seaford Library

Seaford Library

The Seaford Library is a joint use library, serving both the Seaford Secondary College and the local community.

This joint partnership between the City of Onkaparinga Libraries and Department for Education has been extremely successful and is recognised as a leading example of joint use libraries both nationally and internationally.

City of Onkaparinga Libraries is also a part of the One Card network, allowing access to millions of items from other public libraries in South Australia, meaning that Seaford Secondary College staff and students have many more resources available to them than a regular school library.

Online Referencing Generator

The School Library Association of SA (SLASA) has developed a Harvard Online Referencing Generator for schools. There are 3 levels available to use depending on year level – junior (abridged), middle and senior levels. The generator creates citations for a comprehensive range of sources and allows a simple copy and paste into the bibliography. The senior level also provides examples of in-text referencing for each type of source. The Online Referencing Generator is accessible through the ‘Links’ tab on Daymap.
