5th December – Transition Day
On Friday 5th December, all year 6 students who will be attending Seaford Secondary College in 2026 will participate in a full day of transition activities at the school. The day is designed to give students the opportunity to;
- reduce student anxiety about the transition to high school
- build connections with peers, participating in a range of activities with their 2026 Care Group class
- get to know to know the staff and the school, including expectations, values, processes and where do go when they need support.
The day will officially start at 9:00am and finish at 2:55pm. Students will meet on the grassed area in front of the school gates prior to starting and parents / carers are permitted to wait with their child until the program officially starts. Students can be picked up from outside of the school gates at the end of the day.
We look forward to working with our new students for the remainder of this year and supporting their transition to high school further in 2026. Please contact Ben Hardy at the school if you have any further questions.
