Kyoto Board of Education Study Tour – 30th July – 11th August
Kyoto, once the capital of Japan, is a city on the island of Honshu and is about 5hrs south of Tokyo. It’s famous for its numerous classical Buddhist temples, as well as gardens, imperial palaces, Shinto shrines and traditional wooden houses. It’s also known for formal traditions such as kaiseki dining, consisting of multiple courses of precise dishes, and geisha girls.
This is our 8th year at hosting this study tour. We will be hosting 13 students from the 30th of July – 11th of August. They will be involved in a range of classes, activities and excursions and will be supported by Seaford buddies.
